Butterfly garden book review. Its a strange balance between a creepy thriller and friendship. Its edging towards more gruesome horror with transparent sheets of a facade. I received a copy of the butterfly garden in exchange for this post.

Though, if youve a tendency to question the logicality of a book while reading it, it would be best to either suspend your disbelief or just skip this book entirely. I finished this recent book, the butterfly garden by dot hutchison in a meager two days. The butterfly garden, written by dot hutchinson, is a slow paced mystery thriller.

So the main character is maya a girl that was kidnapped by the gardener. Its the first book in a series (the collector book 1), although the rest of the series seemed a bit less successful (more on that in my next review). The butterfly garden and the collector series are not for the faint of heart as hutchison has created an absolutely haunting story that is both breathtaking and horrifying.

The butterfly garden by dot hutchison is one of my favorite books of all time, its dark and disturbing, but its amazing and its very smartly created, but i dont think that its sequel or companion book reach that mark, i dont hate roses of may but since it focuses more on other cases and moves in another direction, i completely lost interest in continuing with the following books. Reviewed in the united states on september 24, 2017. When used by experienced writers (rothfuss' 'name of the wind' is a good example), a nested story can be very effective.

I first discovered this book while i was on one of my impulse buying eveningsehem, late nights. My god after reading this my emotions are all over the place they run from hate, sympathy , and confusion. The butterfly garden by dot hutchison.

The butterfly garden was, without a shadow of a doubt, the worst book i have ever read. The main character relates her story to fbi agents following her rescue from the garden. I think the best thing about this book was all the twists and turns the plot took. She was took to a place call the greenhouse, where a lot of other girls where. I would give this story a 5 stars!
